Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge for your services?

Our initial consultation is cost and obligation free. After assessing your situation, we explain if we think you would benefit from our services, and provide you with a quote. For more information on our fees, click here.

Do you offer payment plans?

Not usually. We will only charge a fee if we are able to add value well beyond what you pay us. The YOLO Plan fee is usually payable upon engaging our services, after the initial obligation-free consultation. If you engage YOLO for Ongoing Service, this is usually paid monthly after we have presented your plan.

What hours do you operate?

We are available business hours Monday to Friday, however enquiries are welcomed 24/7 via our contact form here. Appointments outside normal business hours and on weekends are available by request.

Do I need to come to your office, or are you able to meet me elsewhere?

We understand you lead a busy life, and we are happy to come and see you at a location that suits. Our goal is to provide you with personalised advice that really benefits. Often we find meeting you at your home, where you are comfortable, is a chance to really get to know you and gain a deeper understanding of your needs. Of course you are also welcome to make an appointment at our central CBD office, located within short walking distance of Wynyard and Martin Place train stations.

Is there any obligation for me to proceed with you after an initial meeting?

Absolutely not. We offer our YOLO Health Check, and/or an obligation-free initial consultation. So there’s no risk to you in talking to one of our financial advisers about your situation, and we will only offer you advice if we both agree it is necessary and that you will benefit from it.

Do you offer mortgage brokering on its own?

Absolutely. We offer a wide range of services including Home Loan Advice and Mortgage Broking. There is no need to proceed with a full YOLO Plan if this is the only service you require.

What is your service policy?

Our goal at YOLO is to blow minds with service. We love what we do and we want you to love it too. We understand the benefit of having our clients become raving fans of YOLO and we know what is required for us to earn that privilege.

How secure is my personal information?

We maintain the strictest confidentiality, and are bound by the Privacy Act. We will never share your personal information, except where instructed by you.

Do you offer tax services?

We are not accountants ourselves however we are very happy to recommend a qualified tax accountant to you. We work with a number of different accountants and can provide a trusted referral to ensure you maximise the tax benefits of any financial planning strategies that we help you to implement.

Can you help me with investing, or superannuation?

We can provide you with advice on investments and your superannuation, and can assist you in implementing that advice through a suitable external provider. YOLO Financial Services does not have in-house superannuation or investment funds.

Can you help me invest in property?

If you are seeking to invest in real estate, we are able to refer you to suitably qualified and trusted professionals to look after this area for you. Through YOLO Home Loans, we can assess the viability for you to borrow to invest in real estate and ensure you obtain the right loan structure to make the most of this investment.

Are you able to advise me on Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF)?

Certainly. We have extensive experience and appropriate qualifications to advise you on the suitability of an SMSF. We work with you to select appropriate investments for your SMSF ensuring the investment strategy meets your objectives.
